Ashton Hall revealed why he declined a partnership with Saratoga Water.
Hall is a fitness creator with 7.2 million followers and 96.3 million likes on TikTok and, separately, 19 million followers on Instagram. His career journey dates back to 2020, when he was working at LA Fitness, managing training and selling memberships.
“I was number one in Florida with the sales,” he explained on Cam Newton’s “Funky Friday” podcast. “So I said, ‘Shoot, if I can make them, you know, $100,000 in a month, I could do the same thing for myself.'”
When gyms closed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Hall started posting at-home fitness workouts and launched an online training program. Within 30 days, his social media following grew from zero to 70,000 followers, he said on the podcast.
“It was just booming … Then for four years I was just a fitness creator. I posted workout videos every single day,” he added.
In Hall’s videos then — and still today — Saratoga Water often appears as part of his viral daily routines. According to Complex, the brand’s Google searches increased by an estimated 1,400% because of his videos.

Hall has not formally partnered with the water company, an intentional decision as the creator prioritizes ownership opportunities. While the company has allegedly demonstrated interest in partnering with Hall, he has declined thus far.
“I’m just big on ownership,” he said on “Funky Friday.” “We could make cash. We can make money. That’s cool. But it’s like I want to make money when I sleep … I like to invest my time into the companies that I can go in and have a big exit strategy with.”
That philosophy has already guided Hall’s investment decisions, which include stakes in an energy drink company and Price.com, notes Complex.
On the podcast, he said he is still grateful to Saratoga Water, revealing it has been one of his “biggest blessings” because it has opened doors to more business opportunities.
“I see it as a victory story for sure,” he recalled.
