Streamer University is going to get bigger and better.

As AFROTECH™ previously reported, Streamer University was created by Kai Cenat in 2025. It was housed at The University of Akron in Ohio, serving as the inaugural base for creators large and small, such as DDG, FunnyMike, Lala Baptiste, Corey2u, AyeMariiii, and more. Those invited to participate have flights, housing, and tech covered for the event.

Last year, Streamer University garnered 27 million hours of viewing on Twitch, according to Tech Times.

In 2026, Streamer University returned with millions tuning in again, per the outlet. It was a six-day creator bootcamp that took place at Hendrix College in Conway, AR, closing on July 20 with a live-streamed awards ceremony.

Creators were invited to apply for the following tiers: Student, Professor, and Club Director.

“Streamer University started off as a idea, and now it’s a actual thing. It’s an actual franchise now. It’s amazing, bro, genuinely,” Cenat said while on Twitch.

This year’s class included creator “ijustlovepuzzles” who was awarded the Heart Of The Community award at the 2026 Streamer University closing ceremony. The grandmother served as the university librarian.

She reached 100,000 followers and 6,000 subscribers during her time at Streamer University. She also was awarded $30,000 from MDMotivator that she plans to use for dental surgery, she shared during the closing ceremony.

“I only did that because all of you came by and shared your communities with me. Every time someone came and sat in a chair next to me, the followers went up and the subs went up. I love you guys. I appreciate you so much,” she expressed.

Student creators also included Wardrobe Winter, who was awarded the Steady Growth award, and Surburb Baby, who was awarded MVP and a Dell brand deal.

This year’s professors included Ludwig, Lizzo, and Agent00, who returned for the second year and taught creators how to become millionaires.

Club directors included T-Pain, who was the director of the musical arts club, and Markell Washington, who was director of the cheerleading club and was awarded best club director.

Alums also returned to the campus and appeared for the final leg of Streamer University.

Streamer University

Streamer University has come to an end, but there is more in store. In fact, Cenat revealed that next year, the university will expand overseas for the first time.

It will be held in Europe. Selected alums from both 2025 and 2026 will also have a chance to participate full-time.

“We will really, really be watching, and I would love to see amazing USA creators collaborate with amazing European creators. I’m very excited because this is now the first step into making this for not just the U.S. but for the entire world and seeing cultures clash,” Cenat said at the closing ceremony.
